The 2020 Covid 19 Pandemic was something none of us had expected could ever happen or even prepared for.
There was apprehension, uncertainty and fear but the residents of Downe rose to the challenge
and offered support to their neighbors and friends during the crisis.
The members and volunteers of Downe Township Fire and Rescue Station 39 and
the Dividing Creek Fire Company decided to join together to create a positive gesture
that would bring smiles to the children, their families and residents of our township
that were homebound during the crisis.
The fire companies joined together and organized a "drive-by" visit by the Easter Bunny and Santa Claus
that cruised on routes passing by the homes of township residents.

Thank you for your caring efforts that brought smiles to everyone that saw you pass by!
